Akshay Kumar Confirms He’s Not the Lead in Golmaal 5; Says “Ajay is the Main Hero!.. My Role is Great!”

The Golmaal franchise is synonymous with Ajay Devgn’s iconic Gopal, but the recent announcement of Akshay Kumar joining the fifth installment sent shockwaves through the industry. "Ajay is the Main Hero"

When asked about his involvement in the franchise, Akshay was quick to dismiss any rumors of a lead role. "I'm happy that they think I was good enough to be a part of Golmaal. Ajay is the main hero. I'm not playing the main part," the actor stated.

For a superstar of Akshay’s stature, taking a supporting or secondary role in a major franchise might seem like a gamble, but the actor views it differently. He emphasized that the script and the overall impact of the film matter more to him than his screen time.
