Akshay Kumar & Vidya Balan to Shoot Vibrant Holi Song for Anees Bazmee’s Next

The festive spirit of Holi is set to light up the big screen as Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan gear up to shoot a colourful Holi song for their upcoming film directed by Anees Bazmee.

According to industry sources, the grand Holi sequence will be filmed in late March at a Mumbai studio. The shoot will take place while Akshay Kumar is actively promoting his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla.

The celebratory track will feature Vidya Balan alongside Akshay Kumar, marking an exciting on-screen pairing in a high-energy festive setting. Renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya has been roped in to design the dance number, promising a lively and energetic routine.

To create the perfect festive atmosphere, the makers are building a massive mohalla-style set complete with balconies and terraces, capturing the essence of traditional Holi celebrations in North India. The sequence is expected to be shot on a grand scale with approximately 300–400 background dancers participating in the colourful festivities.

Adding to the excitement, the song will reportedly feature a special hook step crafted by Ganesh Acharya, which the makers believe could go viral during the Holi season.
