Batwara 1947 Day 5, Tuesday Box Office Collection, Early Estimate

Batwara 1947 Day 5, Tuesday Box Office Collection, Early Estimate

Batwara 1947 is showing some growth on Day 5 Tuesday. Thanks to discounted rates, the Sunny Deol starrer is expected to collect around 1.80 crore to 2 crore nett in India. This is slightly better than Monday, but still far below expectations. The minor jump does not change the overall picture. After a weak start and poor weekdays, Batwara 1947 continues to struggle at the box office.

Discounted Rates Bring Minor Growth But Collections Remain Lower Side

Tuesday discounts helped Batwara 1947 get a small bump in footfalls. Morning occupancy stood at 8 to 10 percent in multiplexes, and evening shows touched 18 to 20 percent in some centers. However, these numbers are still extremely low for a national release. Single screens remained mostly empty. The growth is only due to lower ticket prices and not audience demand, which is why overall collections remain on the lower side.

Poor Occupancy Across India Keeps Batwara 1947 Down

Occupancy for Batwara 1947 has been weak since Day 3. Major circuits like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Gujarat reported 10 to 12 percent occupancy on Tuesday. Tier 2 and tier 3 cities also failed to respond. Many theaters cancelled shows due to zero advance. The film is now playing in late night and early morning slots with minimal audience. Without strong word of mouth, even discounts cannot save the film.

Outdated Content Makes Batwara 1947 A Huge Flop

Batwara 1947 is a huge flop mainly because of outdated content. Audiences found the storytelling and treatment old and disconnected from current times. Despite Sunny Deol’s presence and Aamir Khan Productions backing, the film failed to create any buzz. Negative reviews and poor word of mouth killed repeat value from the first weekend itself. The patriotic theme could not cover the lack of fresh writing.

Batwara 1947 Lifetime Box Office Expected Below 40 Crore

Today’s trend clearly indicates Batwara 1947 will finish its total box office run with below 40 crore nett in India. With no major growth left and Awarapan 2 taking over prime shows from next week, the film has no chance of recovery. A 5 day total of around 28 crore and a lifetime under 40 crore makes it one of the biggest disappointments of 2026. For Sunny Deol and the makers, this is a major setback.
