Danish Pandor Calls This Eid Special with ‘Dhurandhar Mahotsav’ as Dhurandhar: The Revenge Releases

Actor Danish Pandor is celebrating a particularly memorable festive season this year, as Dhurandhar: The Revenge releases around Eid-ul-Fitr. Calling it a “Dhurandhar mahotsav,” the actor says the love from audiences has made this time even more special.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, the actor shared that while success has added to the celebrations, his sense of gratitude remains unchanged.

Gratitude Remains Constant

Despite the film’s success, Danish emphasizes that his mindset hasn’t changed.

“The gratitude has always been there irrespective of success. The most important thing is to wake up healthy and be thankful for that. I was grateful last year, I’m grateful this year, and I will continue to be so,” he told Hindustan Times.

The Spiritual Essence of Ramzan

For Danish, the holy month of Ramzan holds deep meaning. He observes all fasts and follows traditions closely.

“It’s about detoxifying your body and resisting worldly desires. It teaches purity of body and soul, and also strengthens community bonding,” he said in the interview.

Food, Memories & Festive Joy

Food plays a big role in Danish’s Eid celebrations, something he fondly discussed while speaking to Hindustan Times.

“Sevain is my absolute go-to. I like sheer khurma too, but sevain is my favourite.”

He also reminisced about childhood iftars, sharing how he and his brother would eagerly wait to see what was being cooked. From egg-paratha sehri meals to refreshing Rooh Afza drinks, those memories still bring joy.

‘Dhurandhar Mahotsav’ This Festive Season

This year’s celebrations go beyond Eid, with festivals like Gudi Padwa and Navratri coinciding alongside the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

“It’s not just Eid—Gudi Padwa and Navratri are also here. Someone told me it’s a ‘Dhurandhar mahotsav’. Theatres are celebrating, and people are showering so much love. Sabka mahotsav ek saath ho raha hai,” he told Hindustan Times.

Staying Grounded Amid Success

Talking about handling success, Danish highlighted the importance of staying grounded.

“You are just as good as your last film. I’m working towards my next project and making sure I don’t disappoint the audience. It feels surreal and overwhelming, but the responsibility has increased,” he said.

A Festive Win for Cinema

With strong audience response and festive momentum, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has added to the celebratory spirit this season. For Danish Pandor, it’s a perfect blend of faith, gratitude, and cinematic success.
