Darling 4K Wraps Overseas Run At $43.9K, North America Closes With $26.8K From 82 Sites.

Darling 4K has completed its overseas theatrical run with a closing gross of $43,950, approximately ₹41.42 lakhs. The Darling 4K re-release of the 2010 Prabhas starrer saw a limited rollout across key diaspora markets. While the numbers are modest, the re-release was designed as a fan event and nostalgia play rather than a wide commercial push. The final tally reflects targeted shows for Prabhas’ global fanbase.

North America contributed the biggest chunk, closing at $26,863 from 82 locations. The NA run accounted for over 60% of the total overseas gross. With 82 sites, the per-location average comes to around $327, typical for re-releases playing limited shows. The US and Canada rollout was spread across one weekend, supported by fan clubs and premium screens. The $26.8K finish makes NA the strongest territory for Darling 4K.

The $43.9K worldwide overseas total includes all markets outside India. After North America, the remaining $17K came from UAE-GCC, UK, Australia, and other pockets. Re-releases often depend on single-show fan screenings, and Darling 4K followed that model. The ₹41.42 lakh gross adds to the growing trend of South re-releases finding small but dedicated audiences abroad. For a 15-year-old film, the event run achieved its limited goal.

For the trade, Darling 4K’s overseas closing shows the ceiling for catalogue titles without aggressive marketing. The $26.8K NA total from 82 locations is respectable for a re-release not backed by a studio-wide campaign. Prabhas’ pull remains intact with fans, even for older films. The $43.9K global cume closes the book on Darling 4K’s overseas stint, adding another data point to the re-release wave.
