DDPD2 Saturday Morning Occupancy Update – Slow Start Again, but Strong Advances for Evening and Night Shows
De De Pyaar De 2 has begun its second day on a soft note, recording around 9 to 10 percent occupancy in the morning shows. The trend is almost identical to yesterday, showing very minimal jump on Saturday Morning. This flat start is not encouraging, considering the film needed a stronger push today.
Yesterday, the film opened very slow in the morning and it looked like it would not even touch the 7 crore mark. But thanks to the positive word of mouth, the film showed steady growth through the day and managed to post a respectable 9 crore opening.
Here is a quick look at the occupancy trend:
| Day | Morning | Noon | Night | Overall |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 (Friday) | 7-8% | 9-10% | 25-26% | 15% |
| Day 2 (Saturday) | 9-10% | - | - | 9.5% |
For Day 2, the movie is currently tracking towards a 12 to 13 crore range based on the growth seen so far. The good part is that advances for evening and night shows are stronger than yesterday, which can help push the overall total higher if the momentum continues.
Now all eyes are on the afternoon, evening and late-night shows. The film’s Saturday performance will clearly decide how well the weekend shapes up.
