Dhamaal 4 Closes Second Weekend With 13 Crore Sunday, 160 Crore In Sight
Dhamaal 4 ended its second weekend on a high note with an estimated 13 crore collection on Day 10, second Sunday. The film registered a 25 percent growth over Saturday’s 10 crore. Strong evening and night shows across mass circuits and multiplexes pushed the numbers further and kept theatres busy throughout the day.
The Sunday jump caps off a fantastic second weekend for the Ajay Devgn starrer. After 5.25 crore on Friday and 10 crore on Saturday, the film now has around 28.25 crore in week 2 alone. Combined with a 99.09 crore opening week, the total has crossed 127 crore in just 10 days. Audience turnout was strong in single screens and family audiences continued to drive footfalls.
With this hold, Dhamaal 4 is firmly a HIT film. It recovered its cost in the first week and the second weekend performance has put it in a much higher league. Word of mouth, franchise recall and clean comedy content have worked together to keep the film steady even in week 2. Tier 2 and tier 3 centers have been the biggest contributors.
The 25 percent growth on Sunday gives the film perfect momentum heading into weekdays. Trade expects the film to stay stable through Monday to Thursday and then get another boost next weekend. That kind of trend is what helps a film run long and cross big milestones.
Looking at the current pace, Dhamaal 4 is now heading towards a 160 crore lifetime total. If weekdays hold well, the film should comfortably get there in the next 7 to 10 days. With 13 crore on second Sunday, Dhamaal 4 has cemented itself as one of the biggest comedy hits of the year.
