Dhamaal 4 Scores 10 Crore On Second Saturday With 85 Percent Jump

Dhamaal 4 delivered an extraordinary performance on Day 9, second Saturday by collecting an estimated 10 crore. The film saw around 85 percent growth compared to the previous day’s 5.25 crore. Noon shows opened with 25 percent occupancy and the numbers kept rising through the evening and night shows in both single screens and multiplexes.

The big jump shows the strength of word of mouth and repeat audience for the film. After a 99.09 crore opening week, Dhamaal 4 was already declared a success. The second weekend surge proves that families and youth are still turning up in large numbers. Tier 2 and tier 3 cities continue to drive the collections for this Ajay Devgn starrer.

Friday and Saturday hold together have confirmed that Dhamaal 4 is a HIT film. The film recovered its cost in week 1 itself and now the second week trend has put it in a much stronger position. The comedy genre and franchise recall have worked well, keeping theatres full even in the second week.

With 10 crore on second Saturday, Dhamaal 4 has built a solid base for a long run. A good Sunday is expected to add more to the total and the weekdays will decide how close it gets to the next milestone. Trade is confident that the film will benefit from a clear window in the coming days.

Looking at the current trend, Dhamaal 4 is now heading towards a 160 crore lifetime total. If the film maintains this pace over the weekend and holds steady next week, the target looks very much achievable. With an 85 percent growth on Saturday, Dhamaal 4 is on track to become one of the biggest comedy hits of the year.
