Dhurandhar Advance Sales Report: Weakest Performing Cities for Day 1
As Day 1 advance bookings for Dhurandhar continue record-breaking sales across national multiplex chains, the film is witnessing least demand across few cities. While major metros are driving the bulk of ticket sales, a few smaller markets are showing notably weak traction both in admissions and theatre occupancy.
Cities with the Lowest Admits
Among tracked markets at national chains, the following cities have recorded the lowest number of ticket sales so far:
- Navi Mumbai – 30 admits
- Darjeeling – 48 admits
- Bhuj – 60 admits
- Gulbarga – 148 admits
- Aurangabad – 195 admits
These numbers indicate very limited advance booking activity, suggesting that demand in these markets could largely depend on spot bookings closer to showtime.
Cities with the Lowest Occupancy
Looking at seat utilization, the following cities have recorded lowest occupancy so far:
- Kochi – 1.1% occupancy
- Navi Mumbai – 1.4% occupancy
- Malegaon – 6.2% occupancy
- Kolkata – 11.7% occupancy
- Dharwad – 12.0% occupancy
Such low occupancy levels highlight limited early audience interest, especially compared to stronger-performing markets where occupancy is already significantly higher in advance sales.
However, advance bookings in smaller markets often pick up closer to release, particularly for films relying on walk-in audiences rather than pre-sales.
