EXCLUSIVE: Ajay Devgn in Advanced Talks for Narthan’s Bollywood Debut Action Film

Kannada filmmaker Narthan is set to make his Bollywood debut, and if reports are to be believed, his first Hindi project could feature National Award-winning actor Ajay Devgn in the lead.

According to Cinema Express, Narthan best known for Kannada hits like Mufti starring Sriimurali and Shivarajkumar, and Bhairathi Ranagal featuring Shivarajkumar has begun discussions with Ajay Devgn for a straightforward action film. Sources suggest that multiple meetings have already taken place, with the project currently in the scripting stage.

The reported collaboration aligns well with Ajay Devgn’s long-standing association with the action genre. Narthan is said to be deeply involved in developing the script and has been making frequent trips to Mumbai as part of the preparation process.

Interestingly, Narthan has also been linked to a project with Yash in the past. While there has been no official update on that front, the project is believed to still be under consideration. For now, however, the filmmaker’s Bollywood plans appear to have taken precedence, with the Ajay Devgn film gaining momentum.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn has a packed slate ahead. The actor is currently working on Drishyam 3, which is under production, and also has Golmaal 5 and Dhamaal 4 in various stages of development.
