Hrithik Roshan is not currently in talks with Daaku Maharaaj director Bobby despite recent rumours. A meeting happened earlier but the project did not move forward.
Rumours about a possible collaboration between superstar Hrithik Roshan and filmmaker K. S. Ravindra recently created a lot of buzz on social media. The speculation suggested that the Bollywood star might team up with the director of the 2025 Telugu hit Daaku Maharaaj for a new pan India project.
However industry sources say that there is currently no project in discussion between the actor and the director. The rumours started after a video interview of Telugu writer and producer Kona Venkat began circulating on X. In the interview Venkat mentioned that his team had once met Hrithik Roshan and narrated an idea for a potential film that Bobby was expected to direct. He also said that Roshan seemed to like the concept.
This statement quickly sparked conversations online with many assuming that the collaboration had already taken shape. There was also talk that the film could be produced by Mythri Movie Makers as a big pan India venture.
But sources close to the development have clarified that while a meeting did happen earlier it did not move ahead after that stage. Such meetings are common in the film industry where ideas are shared but many of them never turn into actual projects. At present there are no discussions happening regarding a film between Hrithik Roshan and Bobby.
Meanwhile Roshan already has a massive pan India project lined up with Hombale Films led by producer Vijay Kiragandur. The production house is known for backing blockbuster films like the KGF franchise, Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire and Kantara.
Hrithik Roshan had earlier expressed his excitement about collaborating with the studio and promised a large scale cinematic experience for audiences.
Apart from films the actor is also expanding into streaming. Through his banner HRX Films he is working with Amazon Prime Video on a thriller drama series titled Storm. The show is created and directed by Ajitpal Singh and is set in Mumbai where ambition secrets and survival collide.
The series features an ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma and Saba Azad.
For now the much talked about Hrithik Roshan and Bobby collaboration remains only speculation with no confirmed project in development.
