Exclusive: Ranveer Singh–Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar Defies All Logic on Day 18; 78,063 Tickets Sold by 10:20 PM Across National Chains, ₹20 Cr Nett Day in Sight ⭐⭐⭐

Dhurandhar continues to operate in territory where conventional box office behaviour simply stops applying. As the film enters Day 18  the third Monday of its theatrical run  advance booking numbers have once again delivered a shock that very few films in Indian cinema history have managed at this stage.

As per the latest national chain data (PVR INOX + Cinepolis), Dhurandhar has sold approximately 78,063 tickets in advance by 10:20 PM for Day 18 alone. For a third Monday, these figures are nothing short of astounding. Most films struggle to sustain basic occupancy by this point  Dhurandhar is posting numbers that rival second-weekend weekdays of major blockbusters.

What makes this performance truly exceptional is the nature of the demand. Advance sales have remained steady through the day, with visible spikes during evening and night shows. Premium formats continue to punch above their weight, but regular screens are also showing healthy pre-sales, especially in urban centres and strong Tier-2 pockets.

Third Mondays are traditionally associated with sharp drops and subdued footfalls. Dhurandhar, however, has completely flipped that expectation. The film is benefitting from sustained word-of-mouth, repeat audiences, and a strong walk-in component that is expected to significantly boost final numbers as the day progresses.

From a trade standpoint, the current advance booking trajectory clearly points toward a ₹20 crore nett day, an almost unthinkable benchmark for a film running into its third week. Such numbers are typically reserved for extended holiday periods or front-loaded releases  not standard weekdays this deep into a run.

The consistency across circuits is particularly telling. There are no major fall-offs in key markets, and occupancies remain evenly spread rather than being limited to select centres. This indicates that Dhurandhar is no longer riding initial hype alone but has firmly transitioned into a long-haul theatrical performer.

With Ranveer Singh’s commanding screen presence and Aditya Dhar’s uncompromising storytelling continuing to resonate strongly with audiences, Dhurandhar has established itself as a rare phenomenon  one that is redefining third-week benchmarks in real time.

At this point, the conversation has shifted from “how well will it hold?” to “how long can this defiance of gravity continue?”

And Dhurandhar shows no signs of slowing down.
