According to Pinkvilla, Yami Gautam is set to make a special cameo appearance in Aditya Dhar’s much-anticipated sequel starring Ranveer Singh.
Following the massive success of Dhurandhar, which emerged as one of the biggest films of 2025 and crossed the ₹1000 crore mark at the global box office, the makers are clearly raising the stakes with the sequel. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that Yami Gautam will be seen in an action-packed and narratively crucial role in Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
As per sources quoted by Pinkvilla, “Yami’s role is extremely important to the storyline. Though it is a cameo, it is action-heavy and will leave a strong impact. She has already completed nearly five days of shooting.”
Yami Gautam’s inclusion adds further strength to an already formidable ensemble. Known for her impactful performances across genres, she has portrayed powerful characters in films like Kaabil, Uri: The Surgical Strike, A Thursday, Article 370, Dasvi and HAQ. Her ability to blend intensity with emotional depth makes her cameo in Dhurandhar 2 one of the most intriguing elements of the sequel.
The sequel will once again be directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Dhar, with Ranveer Singh reprising his role as Hamza Ali.
