Amitabh Bachchan once pushed Manoj Bajpayee into a stunt that left him terrified actor recalls hilarious 26 year old incident on KBC

Manoj Bajpayee is busy promoting The Family Man Season 3 and during his latest visit to Kaun Banega Crorepati he shared a memory that left everyone on the set laughing. The actor spoke about an incident from 26 years ago when Amitabh Bachchan unintentionally put him in a situation that almost got him into huge trouble during a stunt shot.

Manoj said that he has always been scared of heights and even standing 20 feet above the ground feels impossible for him. But at that time the team wanted him to perform a stunt at almost 150 feet in the air. Manoj refused immediately and told everyone that he would not survive such a stunt. When no one could convince him the entire team turned to Amitabh Bachchan hoping he could change Manoj Bajpayees mind.

According to Manoj Amitabh Bachchan assured him with full confidence. Amitji told him Manoj I am right here with you. We will only go up to 50 feet. I have already informed the team that taking you higher can be risky because you are scared. Just trust me. They put a harness on both actors and Amitabh Bachchan asked Manoj to look straight and avoid looking down.

But once they started rising Manoj suddenly realised that they had crossed the 50 feet mark. They were already going past 100 feet and he panicked. He shouted to Amitabh Sir telling him the height was increasing way more than promised. Amitabh Bachchan responded in his classic calm tone saying If something happens just tell Jaya that I love her very much.

This left the KBC audience Amitabh Bachchan himself and actor Jaideep Ahlawat laughing uncontrollably on the stage.

Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat appeared on the popular show to promote The Family Man Season 3 which is start streaming from November 21.
