Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh Records Underwhelming $320K Premiere Advances in North America

Ustaad Bhagat Singh Sees Muted Response with $320K North America Premiere Advances

Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh is all set to hit screens, but the overseas advance booking trend remains underwhelming, with the film posting $291,344 from 430 locations, 1117 shows, and 12,859 tickets for its USA premiere.

The total North America premiere advances now stand at $320K, a figure that falls short of expectations for a film of this scale and star power. Despite the slow pace, the film is currently heading towards a $450K–$500K premiere day, indicating some last-minute momentum could still come into play.

The broader advance sales picture also reflects a lukewarm trend. The North America opening day (Premieres + Day 1) advance sales stand at $350K (₹3.23 Cr), while total advances through the first weekend are around $395K (₹3.65 Cr).

Directed by Harish Shankar, the action-comedy entertainer stars Pawan Kalyan alongside Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna. While the trailer generated decent buzz among fans, the advance booking trends have not quite translated into strong numbers.

With Dhurandhar 2 arriving in the same window and dominating pre-release buzz, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is clearly facing stiff competition at the box office. These numbers are certainly disappointing for a film of this scale, especially considering Pawan Kalyan’s massive fan base in overseas markets. However, with premieres just around the corner, there is still hope for strong spot bookings and walk-ins to boost the opening.
