According to a report by Mid-Day, Deol resumed filming for Antony in Film City on August 26, with the current schedule focusing on major action sequences, including car chases
The Excel Entertainment production, directed by Balaji Ganesh, sees Deol in the role of a police officer taking on a dangerous crime syndicate. According to the latest report, the actor returned to the sets in Film City on August 26 and is currently shooting some major action portions, including high-octane car chase sequences.
Sunny Deol Returns to ‘Antony’ With High-Octane Action
After completing the promotional and release phase of Batwara 1947, Sunny Deol has immediately jumped back into work.
The current schedule of Antony is focused heavily on action, with Deol's character involved in an intense battle against a crime syndicate. Action director Ravi Verma is designing the sequences, including the car chases currently being filmed.
The film is expected to be wrapped by October 2026, setting up a packed schedule for Deol for the remainder of the year.
‘Antony’ Comes After a Busy Phase for Sunny Deol
Sunny Deol currently has one of the busiest slates among Bollywood's veteran stars.
Following Antony, the actor is expected to move into Ramayana: Part 2, where his role as Lord Hanuman is expected to become considerably more prominent. While his appearance in the first part is brief, the sequel is said to feature major action and dramatic sequences for his character.
