THAMMA continues its strong pre-release momentum as the Diwali excitement builds. On Day 2, the film has recorded 48,000 advance tickets across major national chains, maintaining a healthy trend in key urban and metro markets.

City-wise Breakdown

Advance bookings are led by metro centers and prominent cities:

  • Mumbai tops the charts with 4,792 tickets across 363 shows, reflecting strong early Diwali demand.
  • Bengaluru follows with 3,537 tickets from 187 shows, showing sustained interest among urban multiplex audiences.
  • Delhi contributes 2,488 admits across 299 shows, highlighting robust bookings in the NCR region.

With 48K tickets sold, Day 2 reflects a slightly tempered but steady advance trend compared to Day 1’s 80K. Analysts note that the Diwali factor is encouraging spot bookings and walk-ins, which may boost the first-day grand opening even further. Overall occupancy across chains stands at 5.4%, leaving ample scope for release-day surges.

Clash & Market Dynamics

Despite facing competition from Ek Deewaniyat, THAMMA is holding its ground strongly, appealing to family and mass audiences. While urban youth are drawn to the rival film, THAMMA’s festive timing and family-friendly content give it a strategic advantage.
