The Raja Saab: Day 2 Box Office Early Estimate
The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, has witnessed a sharp drop on Day 2, collecting around ₹26 crore Indiawide across all languages. This is not a healthy trend, especially as the second day fell on a Saturday, when films are expected to show growth or at least stability.
After opening to a decent ₹53 crore on Day 1, the film has failed to build momentum. Instead, the collections have dipped significantly, indicating weak word of mouth and limited repeat value. The fall is particularly concerning in the North Hindi belt, where the film continues to underperform with low occupancy levels and minimal walk-ins.
The Telugu-speaking regions remain the film’s strongest support, contributing the bulk of the Day 2 numbers. However, even in these markets, growth has been below expectations for a Prabhas starrer. National chains and multiplexes, especially in the Hindi belt, have shown clear resistance, reflecting muted audience interest.
A Saturday drop of this scale puts the film in a precarious position going forward. With Sunday being crucial, The Raja Saab now needs a strong jump to offset the damage. Otherwise, sustaining numbers in the coming weekdays will be a major challenge.
