Toxic has opened with around 15 percent occupancy today on Day 2 in Hindi circuit as per early morning shows report. After a bumper opening on Day 1, the film is showing a drop in occupancy today which was expected. Yesterday was Eid holiday in many states which gave a big boost to Day 1 collection of 45 to 46 crore. Today being a normal working day, the morning occupancy has come down. The film started slow in morning but will pick up in evening and night shows.

As per current morning occupancy trend, Toxic will collect around 22 to 25 crore today on Day 2 in Hindi circuit. The final collection will depend on remaining day occupancy trend in evening and night shows. If occupancy grows to 50 to 60 percent by night, the film can even touch 28 crore for the day. But as of now 22 to 25 crore looks like a safe estimate for Day 2. The drop from Day 1 is around 50 percent which is normal after a big holiday opening.

The film has mixed reviews but mass belt is supporting it. So Day 2 drop is temporary and film will bounce back strongly on weekend to cover the loss.
