Welcome to the Jungle: Akshay Kumar's comedy Franchise Gets a Mumbai Makeover, Glamour Comes Home: Ahmed Khan Spills the Beans on the Film's Grand Song

The geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran have put Bollywood productions on high alert, and Akshay Kumar's Welcome to the Jungle is no exception. Initially set to roll in Dubai, the film's glamorous song sequence is now getting a Mumbai makeover. Producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala and director Ahmed Khan had envisioned Dubai as the perfect backdrop for this extravagant number, but with the wait getting longer, they've decided to bring the party to Mumbai.

"We waited for nearly a month for things to settle in Dubai, but it didn't happen," Ahmed Khan revealed. "So, we shifted the shoot to Mumbai, and we're excited to bring this vision to life." The song, featuring the entire cast, including Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, and Raveena Tandon, is set to be a showstopper. "We're recreating opulent backdrops typically associated with international locales, but this time, in Mumbai," Ahmed Khan added.

The song sequence promises to be a grand affair, with large sets and a glamorous vibe. The cast is geared up to bring their A-game, and fans are eagerly waiting to see the magic unfold. Welcome to the Jungle is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of 2026, with its ensemble cast, action-packed sequences, and, of course, the grand song numbers.

The film's shift to Mumbai might just add to the excitement, with the city's vibrant energy infusing into the production. As Ahmed Khan puts it, "It's going to be a glamorous number, and we're excited to showcase it to our fans." With the song going on floors on April 15, the anticipation is building up.
