Ajay Devgn & Om Raut Planning a Big Reunion for Unsung Warrior
After the massive success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, as per our sources, Ajay Devgn and Om Raut are gearing up to collaborate once again - this time for another story rooted in Maratha history.
As per sources close to the development, discussions between Ajay Devgn and Om Raut have been going on for a while now for a film based on another unsung Maratha warrior. Ajay Devgn has shown strong interest in the subject. Multiple creative meetings have already taken place. The idea is to build on the legacy of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
Sources further inform that this isn’t just a single film plan. The duo is looking at expanding this into a full-fledged “Unsung Warrior” universe, highlighting lesser-known heroes from Indian history. Early-stage script development is underway. Back-end work, including VFX planning and budgeting, has begun.
Ajay wants to celebrate the Maratha Warrior at the national level with an uncompromised vision. The talks are on with top studios to bankroll the project
For Om Raut, this project could mark a return to the genre that worked best for him, while Ajay Devgn continues to strengthen his space in large-scale historical dramas.
As per our sources, if everything aligns, an official announcement could happen in the coming months, once the script and production logistics are locked.
