As per sources close to the development, discussions between Ajay Devgn and Om Raut have been going on for a while now for a film based on another unsung Maratha warrior. Ajay Devgn has shown strong interest in the subject. Multiple creative meetings have already taken place. The idea is to build on the legacy of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

Sources further inform that this isn’t just a single film plan. The duo is looking at expanding this into a full-fledged “Unsung Warrior” universe, highlighting lesser-known heroes from Indian history. Early-stage script development is underway. Back-end work, including VFX planning and budgeting, has begun.
