“Kya Donga Bhai Naach Nahi Rahe Ho?”: Naveen Kaushik Reveals Fun Banter With Sara Arjun on ‘Dhurandhar’ Set

Actor Naveen Kaushik, in an exclusive conversation with Mamaraazzi, opened up about his light-hearted equation with Sara Arjun during the shoot of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, offering a glimpse into the fun and relaxed atmosphere on set.

Kaushik, who portrayed Donga in the first installment of the franchise, described Arjun as warm, grounded, and extremely approachable despite her rising stardom. “She is extremely joyful when on set. When we met a few times, unhone kabhi yeh feeling nahi di ki woh star hai ya lead actress hai,” he shared.

Recalling their interactions, the actor revealed that their camaraderie felt more like that of college friends than co-actors. “It’s like how we meet college friends they come and tease you and ask, ‘kaha the itne dino?’ That also used to happen back and forth, the teasing,” he added.

Kaushik also shared a recurring joke between the two that became a highlight of their off-camera moments. “She would be like, ‘Kya Donga bhai naach nahi rahe ho’… and then she'd say, ‘chalo nachwaate hai.’ And I’ll say, ‘Nahi nahi, Hamza ko nachwata hoon,’” he said, laughing about their playful exchanges.

His insights reflect a collaborative and easy-going working environment on the film, where camaraderie extended beyond the scenes. While Kaushik does not feature in the sequel, his association with the franchise and interactions with the team continue to resonate.
