Drishyam The Conclusion Day 1 Advance Booking: 2.22 Lakh Tickets Sold By Thursday 11:30 PM; ₹18.5 Crore+ Advance Crossed, 3.75 Lakh In Sight

Drishyam  The Conclusion is heading into its release day with exceptionally strong advance booking momentum. The Ajay Devgn starrer has sold around 2.22 lakh tickets across PVR INOX and Cinepolis by Thursday 12:30 PM, with the film continuing to add tickets at a rapid pace as more shows and capacity are being opened.

The film had crossed 1.91 lakh tickets by Wednesday 11:30 PM, meaning another 31,000 tickets have been added in roughly 13 hours. More importantly, the advance is still running strongly on Thursday, giving the film a substantial window to build further before the first shows begin on Friday morning.

Drishyam 3 Crosses ₹18.5 Crore In Day 1 Advance

The latest national-chain booking translates into an advance value of ₹18.5 crore+, with the figure expected to move significantly higher through Thursday evening and night.

The earlier target of crossing ₹25 crore in Day 1 advance remains well within reach if the current pace continues. With shows still being added across major chains and several locations yet to open their complete capacity, the final number could see another substantial jump before Friday morning.

The current booking picture is particularly significant because the film is not relying purely on a handful of premium metropolitan centres. While cities such as Mumbai, Delhi and Pune are showing excellent traction, the wider market, including Tier 2 centres and Gujarat, still has room to contribute further as the release gets closer.

3.75 Lakh Tickets Could Be The Final National-Chain Picture

With 2.22 lakh tickets already sold by Thursday afternoon, the final national-chain advance is now expected to move considerably higher.

At the current pace, 3.75 lakh tickets across PVR INOX and Cinepolis before the first shows at 9 AM on Friday is firmly in sight. There is still the entire Thursday afternoon, evening and night available, along with further show additions and capacity opening.

If the momentum sustains through the final hours, Drishyam 3 could enter Friday morning with a 3.75 lakh+ national-chain advance, which would put the film in a very strong position for its opening day.

12,000+ Shows Already Open; 16,000 Targeted

The scale of the release is also expanding rapidly. More than 12,000 shows are currently open, while the overall target is around 16,000 shows across the country.

This is important because the current advance numbers are being generated before the entire show capacity has been made available. As more shows open, especially in markets that are yet to fully participate, the film has further room to add to its Friday advance.

The combination of strong demand and increasing show capacity is therefore keeping the Day 1 advance on an upward trajectory right through Thursday.

This Is Not A Typical Front-Loaded Film

What makes the advance particularly interesting is that Drishyam 3 is not behaving like a conventional front-loaded . The genre generally does not generate the kind of advance excitement associated with major event films, but the Drishyam franchise has built a strong connection with audiences over the years.

A major factor behind the current response is the return of Vijay Salgaonkar, with Ajay Devgn reprising the character that has become central to the franchise. The goodwill around the character, combined with Ajay Devgn's star power, appears to be translating into strong advance demand across different audience segments.

The family audience component is also important. Unlike a film driven primarily by youth or urban multiplex audiences, Drishyam 3 has the advantage of a franchise whose characters and story have travelled extensively across the wider audience base.

Mumbai, Delhi And Pune Lead, Wider Markets Yet To Fully Join

The strongest response at the moment is coming from key Tier 1 markets, with Mumbai, Delhi and Pune showing particularly strong booking trends.

However, the story is not complete yet. Several Tier 2 markets and the Gujarat circuit have not fully opened up or are yet to reach their expected booking levels.

If these markets begin contributing at the same pace during Thursday evening and night, the national-chain advance could accelerate further. This is also why the final Thursday night figure will be important in determining just how high the film can go before the first show on Friday.

Overseas Advance Also Showing Strong Momentum

The excitement is not restricted to the domestic market. Early overseas advance trends are also looking very encouraging, with the film seeing strong interest ahead of release.

For a thriller franchise, the scale of anticipation being seen across both India and overseas is noteworthy. Drishyam has developed into a recognisable brand, and the return of Vijay Salgaonkar has clearly become one of the major talking points ahead of the release.

₹50 Crore Opening Now Firmly In Sight

With ₹18.5 crore+ already accumulated in Day 1 advance, more than 2.22 lakh tickets sold in national chains, 12,000+ shows currently open and further capacity being added, the film is now heading towards a very strong Friday.

The earlier trade expectation of a ₹50 crore+ opening is now firmly in sight, provided the advance momentum continues through Thursday night and the film receives the expected walk-in support on Friday.

The final advance will be crucial. If the film manages to reach the projected 3.75 lakh+ tickets across PVR INOX and Cinepolis, it will enter release day with a sizeable advance base even before the first morning shows begin.

For now, the picture is clear: Drishyam 3 has built substantial pre-release momentum, and Vijay Salgaonkar is returning to theatres with the franchise generating one of the strongest advance booking responses seen for a Hindi thriller in recent times.
