Drishyam The Conclusion Day 1 Advance Booking: 2.70 Lakh Tickets Sold By 4 PM; ₹20 Crore+ Advance Crossed, 3.75 Lakh In Sight

Drishyam The Conclusion is heading into its release day with a massive advance booking response. The Ajay Devgn starrer has sold around 2.70 lakh tickets across PVR INOX and Cinepolis by Thursday 4 PM, with the booking momentum continuing to remain strong as more shows and capacity are being opened across the country.

The film had crossed 1.91 lakh tickets by Wednesday 11:30 PM, before reaching 2.22 lakh by Thursday 12:30 PM. In the following few hours, another 48,000 tickets have been added, taking the national-chain tally to approximately 2.70 lakh tickets by 4 PM.

The advance is clearly maintaining its upward momentum with the film now less than a day away from its theatrical release.

Drishyam 3 Crosses ₹20 Crore In Day 1 Advance

The latest national-chain booking has pushed the Day 1 advance value past the ₹20 crore mark, further strengthening the film's opening-day prospects.

The film had already crossed ₹18.5 crore in advance by Thursday afternoon, and the latest jump has now taken the figure beyond ₹20 crore. With Thursday evening, night and late-night shows still available for bookings, the advance has considerable room to grow before the first shows begin on Friday morning.

The earlier target of ₹25 crore+ in Day 1 advance is now becoming increasingly realistic if the current pace continues through the final hours.

The booking picture is also not limited to a handful of premium metropolitan centres. While Mumbai, Delhi and Pune continue to show strong traction, several Tier 2 markets and the Gujarat circuit still have room to contribute further as capacity continues to open.

2.70 Lakh Tickets Sold, 3.75 Lakh Still In Sight

The jump from 2.22 lakh tickets at 12:30 PM to 2.70 lakh by 4 PM highlights the pace at which the film is adding tickets on Thursday.

With several hours of booking still left before Friday morning, the projected 3.75 lakh+ final national-chain advance remains within sight.

The final number will depend on the pace through Thursday evening and night, along with the number of additional shows and seats released by the chains. Given that capacity is still being added at several locations, the film has a substantial opportunity to push the tally higher before the first show.

If Drishyam 3 reaches or crosses the 3.75 lakh mark across PVR INOX and Cinepolis, it would enter Friday with a very sizeable advance base already secured.

12,000+ Shows Open, 16,000 Targeted

The scale of the release continues to expand. More than 12,000 shows are currently open, while the overall target remains around 16,000 shows across the country.

This expanding show count is particularly important for the advance because the current booking figures are being generated even as additional capacity is being made available. As more shows open in markets that have not yet reached their full potential, the national tally can continue to build through the night.

The combination of strong demand and increasing show capacity has kept the Day 1 advance moving consistently higher throughout Thursday.

Not A Typical Front-Loaded Film

What makes the current advance particularly notable is that Drishyam The Conclusion is not behaving like a conventional front-loaded thriller. The genre does not traditionally generate the kind of advance activity associated with large-scale event films, but the Drishyam franchise has developed considerable audience goodwill over the years.

The return of Vijay Salgaonkar, played once again by Ajay Devgn, is a major factor behind the response. The character has become closely associated with the franchise, while Ajay Devgn's star power adds another layer to the theatrical anticipation.

The film is also benefiting from a broad audience base. The franchise has travelled beyond the urban multiplex audience, with its characters and story finding recognition among family audiences across different markets.

This wider audience appeal is an important factor in understanding why the advance is continuing to grow rather than being restricted to the opening-day audience in major metros.

Mumbai, Delhi And Pune Continue To Lead

The strongest booking trends are currently being seen in key Tier 1 markets, particularly Mumbai, Delhi and Pune.

At the same time, the wider market has not yet completely joined the advance rush. Several Tier 2 centres and the Gujarat circuit still have capacity and booking potential available.

The performance of these markets during Thursday evening and night will therefore be important for the final national-chain picture. If they pick up alongside the metropolitan centres, the film could make another significant jump before Friday morning.

Overseas Advance Also Showing Strong Response

The momentum is not restricted to India. Early overseas advance trends are also showing strong interest ahead of the release.

The response is particularly noteworthy for a thriller, with the Drishyam brand carrying significant recognition among audiences outside India as well. The return of Vijay Salgaonkar remains one of the biggest talking points around the film, while Ajay Devgn's presence further strengthens the anticipation.

The domestic and overseas advance trends together indicate that the film is entering its release day with substantial pre-release demand.

₹50 Crore Opening Remains In Focus

With 2.70 lakh tickets already sold in national chains, the ₹20 crore+ Day 1 advance crossed and more shows continuing to open, Drishyam The Conclusion is now heading into Friday with a substantial advance base.

The ₹25 crore+ Day 1 advance remains the next major milestone, while the final national-chain ticket count could potentially move towards the 3.75 lakh+ range if Thursday night bookings maintain their current pace.

The advance alone cannot determine the final opening-day collection, as Friday's walk-ins, show utilisation and performance across the wider market will also play a major role. However, the current booking trend has clearly put the film in a strong position going into release day.

With the first shows set to begin on Friday morning, the focus now shifts to the final Thursday-night advance and how the film converts this pre-release demand into actual footfalls.
