EXCLUSIVE: Salman Khan Teams Up with The Family Man Makers Raj & DK for Big-Scale Action-Comedy

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly in discussions with acclaimed filmmaker duo Raj & DK, best known for The Family Man, for a potential action-comedy film.

According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, the talks are currently at an early stage, with Salman Khan having already heard the basic idea and shown interest in the project. The film is said to blend large-scale action with comedy, a genre that suits Salman’s mass appeal, while also offering a fresh narrative touch under Raj & DK’s unique storytelling style.

Sources close to the development revealed that the duo is keen to mount the project on a grand scale if the collaboration materialises. While Salman Khan has responded positively to the concept, a final decision is yet to be made as the script and timelines are still being discussed.

“Salman Khan has heard the basic idea and shown interest. It’s an action-comedy that presents him in a slightly different space. However, he is yet to give his final nod,” a source told Pinkvilla.

The report further suggests that scheduling is a key factor, given Salman Khan’s already packed lineup. If everything aligns creatively, the makers are aiming to take the film on floors by the end of 2026.

A collaboration between Salman Khan and Raj & DK could bring a new flavour of mass entertainment to the big screen, combining star power with sharp, modern filmmaking. However, an official announcement will only be made once the actor gives his final approval.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film Battle Of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under the banner of Salman Khan Films. The film, based on true events, also stars Chitrangada Singh and is slated for a theatrical release on 17 April 2026.
