As per Bollywood Hungama reports, Producer Aditya Sood attributes this success to the Indian audience's enthusiasm, saying, "What's amazing is that the audience here has really said that they want to see it." He's hopeful that the film will have a long run in IMAX theaters, emphasizing that it's a movie meant to be experienced on the biggest screen possible.

The IMAX controversy surrounding Project Hail Mary has sparked debate, with some fans frustrated over limited shows. Aditya Sood addressed this, stating, "If people speak up and demand that they want it, then it'll happen as the customer is always right!"
