Ranbir Kapoor Introduces ‘Ramayana’ at LA Event; Calls Lord Rama ‘Conscience Keeper of Billions’
Ranbir Kapoor, along with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra, recently unveiled the first visuals of their ambitious mythological epic Ramayana at a special event in Los Angeles.
The exclusive screening was attended by an international audience, marking an important milestone ahead of the film’s much-awaited first glimpse release on April 2. The event has since generated significant buzz, with glimpses and moments from the screening surfacing across social media.
During the event, the trio also participated in an interactive Q&A session, where they shared insights into the film’s vision, scale, and characters. Speaking about portraying Lord Rama, Ranbir Kapoor reflected on the timeless relevance of the character.
Describing Lord Rama as the epitome of an ideal man, the actor referred to him as Maryada Purushottam and highlighted his enduring influence across generations.
“Lord Rama has been the conscience keeper of billions of people around the globe for centuries and long after. He will continue being so long after we have gone,” Ranbir Kapoor said during the interaction.
The film is being positioned as a grand cinematic retelling of one of India’s most revered epics, with a focus on authenticity, scale, and global storytelling.
With anticipation already building, audiences now await the official first glimpse of Ramayana, which is set to be unveiled on April 2.
