‘Welcome to the Jungle’ Dubai Shoot Cancelled Amid West Asia Tensions; Song Shifted to Mumbai

The makers of Welcome to the Jungle have called off their planned Dubai schedule and will now shoot the song in Mumbai, amid the ongoing West Asia conflict.

As reported by Mid-Day, the team, led by director Ahmed Khan, had initially planned to film a grand song sequence in Dubai. However, due to the prevailing situation in the region, the schedule has been scrapped and is being reworked locally in Mumbai.

Postponing the shoot was not considered a viable option, as the song features a massive ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Shreyas Talpade, among others.

Given the challenge of coordinating dates for such a large cast again, the makers opted to proceed with the shoot as scheduled, shifting the location to Mumbai instead.

Interestingly, this isn’t the only project impacted by the situation. As reported by Mid-Day, another major film, King, also had to cancel its Dubai schedule recently.

Despite the change in plans, the team is working on reimagining the song to match the intended scale and visual appeal, ensuring that the film’s entertainment quotient remains intact.
