Salman Khan’s Wildest Confession Yet: ‘I’ve Never Read A Script In My Entire Life’

Salman Khan Shockingly Reveals He Has Never Read A Film Script In His Life

Salman Khan has made many surprising statements over the years, but his latest confession may have left Bollywood fans the most stunned.

In a candid interaction with Variety India, the superstar revealed that despite delivering some of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema, he has never actually read a film script in his entire life.

Yes — never.

“I’ve never read a script in my entire life. I’ve written them, but I’ve never read them,” Salman said during the conversation, instantly triggering massive reactions online.

The revelation quickly went viral across social media, with fans both shocked and amused by Salman’s brutally honest admission. While most actors are known to carefully study scripts before signing films, Salman admitted that his process has always been driven more by instinct, narration, and the overall feel of a project rather than reading pages of written material.

Interestingly, this isn’t entirely new for those who have closely followed Salman’s career. Over the years, filmmakers and industry insiders have often hinted that the actor relies heavily on gut feeling and personal chemistry with directors while choosing projects.

And honestly, considering his filmography, the approach has somehow worked spectacularly for decades.

From Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun to Wanted, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and the Tiger franchise, Salman has remained one of Bollywood’s biggest crowd-pullers despite never following the “traditional” script-selection process associated with method-driven actors.

The actor’s statement has now sparked fresh debate online about instinct versus script sense in mainstream cinema. While some social media users called the confession “peak Salman Khan energy,” others jokingly blamed it for some of his weaker recent film choices.

At the same time, fans also pointed out that Salman has always positioned himself more as a mass entertainer than a conventional actor obsessed with cinematic detailing.

During the same interaction, Salman also addressed the constant buzz around his luxury watch collection, clarifying that many expensive watches he is spotted wearing often belong to friends and close associates rather than being personally owned by him.

As expected, the interview has already become a huge talking point online  because only Salman Khan can casually admit he’s never read a script after spending nearly four decades ruling the box office.
