Tiger Shroff, Shanaya Kapoor Pair Up For Firoz Nadiadwala’s Zombie Comedy, Ahmed Khan To Direct

Tiger Shroff is set to lead a zombie comedy backed by Firoz Nadiadwala, with Shanaya Kapoor cast opposite him. According to Variety India the untitled project marks a fresh genre pivot for Tiger, who’s largely been associated with action franchises, and gives Shanaya one of her biggest mainstream vehicles yet. The film will be helmed by Ahmed Khan, who has a long-running collaboration with Tiger.

Khan’s track record with Tiger includes Baaghi 2, Baaghi 3, and Heropanti 2, all high-octane actioners. This zombie comedy signals a tonal shift while keeping the commercial, massy sensibilities Khan is known for. The director is also currently busy with Welcome To The Jungle, the fourth film in the Welcome franchise, also for Nadiadwala. Slotting another big film with the same producer shows the confidence in their combo.

According to the update, both Tiger and Shanaya have verbally agreed to the project. Pre-production is underway, with shoot scheduled to begin by the end of 2026. The pairing is new and the zombie-comedy space is relatively untapped in Hindi cinema, giving the film a novelty factor. For Nadiadwala, this adds to a packed slate as he revives his banner with franchise films and new genre bets.

The film will test Tiger’s comic timing in a horror backdrop while positioning Shanaya in a large-scale entertainer early in her career. With Ahmed Khan’s mass treatment and Nadiadwala’s franchise expertise, the project is being designed as a wide-audience theatrical play.
