Trisha Breaks Silence After Vijay Swearing-In Backlash, Her ‘Love Is Always Louder’ Post Goes Viral

Actor Trisha Krishnan appears to have responded to social media criticism following her presence at Vijay’s oath-taking ceremony on May 10. Sharing a fresh set of photos from the event on Instagram, the actor wrote, “The love is always louder,” along with a blue heart emoji a statement many online interpreted as a subtle message to trolls targeting her over the past few days.

Trisha attended the swearing-in ceremony held in Chennai after Vijay’s political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), secured a historic victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. The party won 108 seats, ending the decades-long dominance of the DMK and AIADMK in the state.

Soon after visuals from the ceremony surfaced online, social media discussions intensified around Trisha’s attendance, especially as Vijay’s wife Sangeetha Vijay and their children were absent from the public event. Several users questioned the actor’s presence, reigniting long-standing rumours about Vijay and Trisha’s relationship.

In the photos shared on Instagram, Trisha was seen wearing a teal Kanjeevaram saree paired with a beige embroidered blouse with gold detailing. Styled by Eka Lakhani and Harshene Ravichandar, the look was completed with a ruby-and-diamond choker set, jasmine flowers adorning a sleek bun, and understated makeup.

The actor’s latest post comes amid continued speculation surrounding Vijay’s personal life. Reports of divorce proceedings involving Sangeetha have been circulating in recent months, with rumours about Vijay’s alleged closeness to a female actor dominating Tamil entertainment headlines. Neither Vijay nor Trisha has publicly commented on the speculation.

Trisha has, however, remained a visible supporter of Vijay and TVK during the election season. On counting day, she openly expressed support for the party’s campaign. Earlier this month, after offering prayers at Tirupati temple on her birthday, she was also spotted visiting Vijay’s residence in Chennai as TVK edged closer to victory.

Over the years, Vijay and Trisha have emerged as one of Tamil cinema’s most successful on-screen pairings, having worked together in multiple hit films. Their recent public appearances together  including at a Chennai wedding shortly after reports of Vijay’s marital issues surfaced  have only added fuel to ongoing speculation.

For now, Trisha’s five-word caption has become the latest talking point online, with fans rallying behind the actor even as debates around her appearance at the ceremony continue across social media.
