Welcome To The Jungle has picked up well in evening and night shows on Monday. Occupancy is now trending around 25 to 30 percent which is a healthy jump from morning shows. The growth in later shows is driven by spot bookings and the positive word of mouth from the weekend. Mass centers continue to perform better than premium multiplexes.

With the improved evening trend, the film will comfortably cross 7.5 crore net on day four. Morning shows had opened at 9 percent but the strong turnout post 5 pm has pushed the day total higher. This kind of growth on a working Monday shows audience acceptance. The four day total will now move closer to the 70 crore net mark.

The movie has shown a good hold today and it is all set for success. After collecting above 60 crore net in the opening weekend with paid previews, a Monday in the 7.5 crore plus range is a solid result. The discounted ATP on Tuesday will likely shift some footfalls, but the Monday number ensures the film is on safe ground. The trend so far is positive.

For HIT status, Welcome To The Jungle should perform excellent on the second weekend. The first week will be strong and the lifetime depends on how well it sustains after the first ten days. If the film manages a minimal drop next Friday and jumps again on second Saturday and Sunday, it can chase a big lifetime total. The foundation is set and now it needs the weekend repeat.
