Ajay Devgn’s Chauhaan Faces Controversy as Kshatriya Parishad Objects to “Politicisation of Rajput Identity”
Ajay Devgn’s upcoming project Chauhaan has found itself in controversy after objections were raised by the Kshatriya Parishad over the film’s title and alleged portrayal.

The organisation has issued a strong statement condemning the makers, claiming that the use of the “Chauhaan” name appears to be an attempt to politicise Rajput identity. The group has also expressed concern over what it describes as the “communal mobilisation” of a historically significant clan name.
The Parishad has demanded that the filmmakers refrain from using the Chauhaan clan reference in a manner that could be interpreted as politically or communally sensitive. They have urged the makers to reconsider the representation and avoid any content that could lead to unnecessary controversy or misinterpretation.
As per the report, the organisation believes that using such references in cinematic storytelling requires greater sensitivity, especially when dealing with historically and culturally significant identities.
So far, there has been no official response from Ajay Devgn or the makers of Chauhaan regarding the issue.
The film continues to be in the spotlight, not only for its cast and scale but also for the ongoing debate surrounding its title and thematic representation.
