Anaconda - Day 1 Box Office Estimates

Anaconda - Day 1 Box Office Estimates

Jack Black and Paul Rudd’s Anaconda has taken a below par start at the Indian box office, with Day 1 collections estimated at around ₹2 crore nett, driven by the sale of 40K tickets approx across PIC chains.

The film had a limited release across India, which significantly capped its opening potential. Despite arriving during a festive window, stiff competition from strong performers like Dhurandhar and Avatar: Fire and Ash offered audiences multiple viewing options, resulting in lower footfalls.

The film adopted a more comic take on the franchise, which didn’t fully align with audience expectations, and this shift in tone emerged as one of the key reasons behind its lower opening at the box office.

Day 1 Estimate (India Nett): ₹2cr
