“Didn’t Know YRF, Shanoo Sharma,” How Siddharth Nigam Got His BIG Bollywood Break

For many aspiring actors, the journey to Bollywood is long and uncertain. But for Siddharth Nigam, one unexpected call changed everything. From doing advertisements to landing a role in a major production, his story is a reminder of how quickly things can shift in the industry when opportunity meets preparation.

In an exclusive interview with Mamaraazzi, Siddharth spoke about his journey and how a breakthrough opportunity with Yash Raj Films came his way at a young age.

Looking back at his early days, Siddharth shared that things began to change after one of his advertisements gained attention.

“The Bournvita ad released was very good. And within like 3 to 6 months, I got a call from Yash Raj. We don’t know who is or who is… it was a direct call.”

He added that moving to Mumbai at that stage was not easy and came with its own fears.

“We were scared of Mumbai… you don’t know anything when you come here.”

Describing the audition process, Siddharth said it was clear and straightforward from the beginning, with no guarantees.

“They said, we will take your audition and drop it again. After the audition, if you like it, then you will come… otherwise you will not come. It was clear.”

Despite the uncertainty, he chose to take the opportunity and follow through with the process.

“I said okay… whatever they said, I did. I went to Mumbai and gave the audition.”

That decision eventually proved to be a turning point in his career.

“I got selected… they told me your life can change from here.”

Siddharth went on to reveal that he was cast in Dhoom 3, which marked his big-screen breakthrough and went on to become a major commercial success.

“I got selected for Dhoom 3. And the rest is history. Dhoom 3 came… 500 crore, first film. Everything changed.”

From doing advertisements to being part of a blockbuster film, his journey reflects how a single opportunity can shape the course of a career
