Aditya Dhar & Jio Studios Extend First‑Look Deal – Bigger, Bolder, and Ready for “Dhurandhar: The Revenge”

Director Aditya Dhar and Jio Studios have renewed their first‑look partnership for another two years. Under the agreement, Dhar will develop and produce multiple projects for the studio, including his next directorial venture. The collaboration, which began in 2023 through Dhar’s B62 Studios with partner Lokesh Dhar, continues to anchor Jio Studios’ slate of high‑profile films.

Currently, Dhar is putting the final touches on “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” slated for a theatrical release on 19 March 2026. The film’s post‑production team reports that edits are nearing completion, and promotional material is already generating buzz across industry circles.

According to insiders, the sequel promises to be “bigger and better” than its predecessor, with expanded action sequences, a larger ensemble cast, and a more ambitious visual scope. Jio Studios is positioning the title as a flagship release for its 2026 calendar, aiming for a wide domestic and overseas rollout.
