Ajay Devgn’s Premium Whisky Brand The GlenJourneys Crosses Rs. 4.14 Crore Turnover in Just Four Months

Ajay Devgn’s foray into the premium spirits space is off to a strong start. His single-malt whisky brand, The GlenJourneys, has reported a turnover of Rs. 4.14 crore within four months of launch, signalling robust demand in India’s fast-growing premium alcohol segment.

According to an official company statement, The GlenJourneys has sold over 8,622 bottles since its debut in October 2025. The brand, launched in collaboration with Cartel Bros, currently operates across 437 retail outlets in six Indian states, with plans underway for both national and international expansion.

Rapid Expansion Across Key Indian Markets

The GlenJourneys began its retail journey in Maharashtra and subsequently expanded to Goa, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi in January 2026. Most recently, the brand entered Haryana in February 2026, strengthening its presence in North India.

In line with its aggressive growth strategy, the company has initiated registration across 23 additional states and union territories, including Punjab, Rajasthan, Pondicherry, and Chandigarh, laying the groundwork for a wider national footprint.

Strong Presence in Duty-Free Retail

Beyond domestic retail outlets, The GlenJourneys has also secured shelf space at major duty-free locations across Indian airports, including Mumbai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Trivandrum, Amritsar, and Mangalore. This move gives the brand increased visibility among international travellers and premium consumers.

Commenting on the brand’s early success, Ajay Devgn shared:

Export Plans on the Horizon

Buoyed by its early performance, the company is now exploring export opportunities, marking the next phase of growth for the brand. Industry experts note that celebrity-backed premium alcohol labels are increasingly gaining traction in India, particularly in the single-malt and luxury spirits categories.

Ajay Devgn’s Upcoming Film Slate

On the cinema front, Ajay Devgn is gearing up for Drishyam 3, the next installment in the successful thriller franchise. He also has sequels to popular comedy franchises like Golmaal and Dhamaal reportedly in development, keeping his professional slate packed.
