What Is Dhurandhar 2 About?
The film follows the journey of an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi’s criminal and political network to dismantle a dangerous terror operation targeting India.
The sequel continues the story of Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh), an Indian undercover operative who has successfully embedded himself within Pakistan’s underworld. After eliminating crime lord Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna), Hamza rises through the ranks of power but soon finds himself facing his most formidable enemy yet Major Iqbal (Sanjay Dutt), a powerful ISI mastermind known as Bade Sahab.
The storyline is loosely inspired by several real-life geopolitical events in South Asia, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and developments linked to Pakistan’s Operation Lyari.
