Dhurandhar Opens Decently In Morning: Occupancy Rises from Morning to Afternoon

Dhurandhar has begun its theatrical journey with a decent start, even if the expectations were for a stronger opening. Morning occupancy was around 18-20 percent, which is fair for a normal working Friday. However, considering the film’s massive scale, big budget and the hype surrounding it, ideally the opening should have been closer to the 30 percent mark.

As the day progressed, the film showed improvement. Afternoon occupancy picked up well, and by 2 PM the occupancy touched around 25 percent, showing a steady upward trend. This clearly indicates that the film is gaining momentum as more crowds are walking in during the second half of the day.

The encouraging sign is that advance bookings for evening and night shows in major metro cities are strong, especially in premium formats. If this momentum continues, the film can see a Good jump in the peak hours, which will be crucial for its Day 1 total.

For now, looking at the current trend and pace of bookings, Dhurandhar is moving towards a Day 1 in the range of around 20 crore, depending on how strong the evening and late-night shows finally land.

A respectable start with clear potential for a strong push ahead. All eyes now on the evening surge.
