Bollywood icons Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn are preparing to establish large-scale film studios in Bharat Future City, Telangana’s upcoming fourth major city and one of the most ambitious urban development projects in the country.
Bharat Future City, shaped under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is designed to become a world-class hub for technology, education, tourism, entertainment, and sports. With more than 1,300 global delegates expected to attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, the city is positioned to emerge as a landmark for next-generation infrastructure and global collaboration.
A Transformative Moment for Hyderabad’s Film and Creative Sector
Hyderabad has long been a preferred filming destination for some of the biggest Hindi films, backed by world-class studios, skilled technicians, and diverse shooting locations. With Salman Khan’s SKF Films and Ajay Devgn’s NY VFXwala now planning major studios inside Bharat Future City, the city is set to strengthen its stature as a pan-India and global production hub.
Each studio, spread across 50 to 60 acres, will include high-end shooting zones, state-of-the-art VFX facilities, and advanced creative infrastructure. These projects are expected to generate thousands of opportunities for local artists, technicians, and creative professionals, giving a powerful boost to Telangana’s entertainment economy.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally met both Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn to present the Telangana Rising vision and the scale of Bharat Future City. After his meeting with the CM in Mumbai, Salman Khan expressed his full support and assured that he would help amplify the Telangana Rising message globally. Ajay Devgn’s team also engaged in discussions with the state leadership, exploring possibilities related to VFX expansion and studio development.

MoUs Expected at Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025
With the government prepared to offer land and special incentives for these studios, the formal Memorandums of Understanding are likely to be signed during the Telangana Rising Global Summit on December 8 and 9, marking a milestone moment for both Bharat Future City and the state’s creative economy.
