The Kerala Story 2 – Day 17 Box Office Estimates

The Kerala Story 2 continues its run at the box office as it records another steady day during its third weekend. With theatres across the country still witnessing very low occupancies since the release of O Romeo, the film remains the only title currently managing to bring in some audience from select markets.

As per early estimates, the film is expected to collect around ₹2.8 crore nett on Day 17 (3rd Sunday) at the Indian box office.

The film has shown a slight jump from Saturday numbers as Sunday footfalls improve marginally in certain centres. However, overall cinema occupancy remains limited across the country. Even with that scenario, The Kerala Story 2 continues to generate whatever collections are possible and remains the only film presently attracting some audience to theatres.

Now The Kerala Story 2 has two more days to collect or add a few more chunks to its lifetime total. From Wednesday, Dhurandhar 2 is set to release, and the craze and hype surrounding the film is on another level. The current dull phase at the box office is expected to change once the new release arrives.

Overall, the film is emerging as an AVERAGE fare and marks the third success of the year, with Border 2 turning out to be a SUPER HIT, while Mardaani 3 and The Kerala Story 2 stand as AVERAGE performers.

Day 17 Early Estimate (India Nett): ₹2.8 Cr
