Yami Gautam’s First Review of Dhurandhar 2: “An Experience the Audience Will Never Forget”

Yami Gautam has finally shared her first reaction after watching Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and her words have only amplified the buzz around one of the most awaited Indian films of 2026.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and headlined by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar 2 has been making headlines for months, with constant speculation about a possible cameo by Yami herself. While the actor continues to stay tight-lipped about her appearance, she has now confirmed that she has already watched the film  and her reaction speaks volumes.

Speaking at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2026, Yami was asked about releases scheduled for March 19. Carefully avoiding spoilers, she said that any major information related to Dhurandhar would be shared by Aditya Dhar himself, adding that she too has an “important appointment in the cinema hall” that day.

Reflecting on the journey of the franchise, Yami recalled her unwavering belief in the first film, even stating earlier that Dhurandhar would make every Indian proud. She revealed that while shooting Article 370, she read the initial 40-page script of the first film  a moment that left her deeply emotional and speechless, moved to tears by its impact.

Yami also spoke about witnessing Aditya Dhar’s relentless dedication, sincerity, and conviction throughout the making of the franchise. Finally, opening up about the sequel, she described Dhurandhar 2 as “beyond extraordinary.”

“I was really emotional after watching it,” she said, adding that the experience stayed with her long after the screening. She revealed that she found herself unable to focus on anything else, quietly absorbing what she had just witnessed. According to Yami, Aditya Dhar has poured his heart, love for the audience, and love for the country into the film.

Her verdict is clear: “Dhurandhar 2 will be an experience the audience will never forget.”
