EXCLUSIVE: Shahid Kapoor’s O’ Romeo Trailer Launch Cancelled Due to Security Concerns

The trailer launch of Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film O’ Romeo has been cancelled owing to security concerns, according to an exclusive update reported by Pinkvilla.

The film had recently grabbed attention after its intense teaser created strong buzz ahead of its scheduled release on February 13, 2026. While the trailer launch was expected to take place soon, the makers have now decided to call off the event.

Why Was the Trailer Launch Cancelled?

As per sources cited by Pinkvilla, the decision was taken following alleged security threats linked to the late gangster Hussain Ustara. His daughter, Sanober Shaikh, has reportedly demanded a ransom of ₹2 crore from the film’s team, prompting the makers to prioritize safety and cancel the public launch event.

At present, there is no official confirmation on when or how the trailer will be released, and audiences will have to wait for further updates from the makers.
