Kalki 2 Kicks Off: Amitabh Bachchan Reunites with Kamal Haasan After 40 Years!

Amitabh Bachchan has begun shooting for Kalki 2 in Hyderabad, and it's a reunion to remember! The veteran actor is reuniting with Kamal Haasan after nearly 40 years, last sharing screens in the 1985 film Geraftaar. Bachchan shared behind-the-scenes pics from the set, showcasing his transformation into Ashwatthama and a heartwarming hug with Haasan.

The actor skipped his Sunday fan meet to work on Kalki 2, a sequel to the blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD. "Told them that this Sunday I shall not be able to come, since I was shooting in Hyderabad but still they come to confirm even this cute little fellow," he wrote, sharing photos of fans waiting outside his Jalsa residence.

Kalki 2 promises to be a sci-fi epic, with Bachchan reprising his role as Ashwatthama and Haasan continuing his arc as Supreme Yaskin. Prabhas is also on board, and fans are excited to see the legends together on screen. "And meeting up with the great KAMAL HAASAN ... we shall be working together after ages .. last in Giraftar," Bachchan added.

The film is directed by Nag Ashwin, and production is underway in Hyderabad. With its unique blend of mythology and science fiction, Kalki 2 is expected to be a cinematic event.
