Exclusive: Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari’s next with Sooraj Barjatya titled Yeh Prem Mol Liya
Sooraj Barjatya, known for his iconic family entertainers, is ready to return with another heartwarming story. His upcoming directorial venture featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari has now been officially titled Yeh Prem Mol Liya.
The film, backed by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films and Anita Gurnani, went on floors on November 1. Earlier, it was tentatively called Prem Ki Shaadi, but the final title came to light when photographer Ravendra Singh Bhadauria shared a BTS photo on November 6. The image featured a clapperboard with the name Yeh Prem Mol Liya, confirming the title and setting social media abuzz.
According to a report in Mid-Day, the team recently completed a week-long shooting schedule in Kandivali. Sooraj Barjatya reportedly filmed a grand celebration sequence that featured Ayushmann Khurrana, Sharvari, and over 200 background dancers. A visual extravaganza typical of the Rajshri style.
The next major schedule is expected to take place at Mehboob Studios in Bandra, where almost 80 percent of the film will be shot. The remaining portions will include a few outdoor sequences, with the entire shoot expected to wrap up by January 2026.
The family drama also stars veteran actors Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak in key roles. Following the success of Uunchai (2022), this project marks another collaboration between Sooraj Barjatya and Mahaveer Jain, who reportedly share a strong creative rapport built on trust and mutual respect.
For Ayushmann Khurrana, Yeh Prem Mol Liya comes right after his latest release Thamma, which hit cinemas during Diwali and is still running with strong word of mouth. The actor, who has balanced socially relevant themes with mainstream entertainment, joins Rajshri Productions for the first time with this film, a fresh pairing that fans are excited about.
Sharvari, meanwhile, continues her impressive rise in Bollywood. She is now gearing up for her next major project, Alpha, alongside Alia Bhatt — a high-octane action thriller that places her firmly in the spy-entertainment space. This adds another major film to her growing list of big-banner collaborations.
With Sooraj Barjatya’s signature emotional storytelling, Ayushmann’s relatable charm, and Sharvari’s youthful freshness, Yeh Prem Mol Liya is shaping up to be one of the awaited family entertainers of 2026.
