Sunny Deol Loses His Cool on Paps Over Dharmendra’s Health Coverage
The atmosphere outside the Deol family home in Juhu turned tense recently when actor Sunny Deol lost his calm with the paparazzi stationed outside their residence. The incident took place just a day after his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, was discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he had been admitted for more than ten days.
Since his return home, a crowd of photographers and fans has been gathering around the Deol residence to get a glimpse of the legendary actor. Despite repeated requests for privacy from the family, the constant media presence seemed to have pushed Sunny to his limit.
Sunny visibly emotional, stepped out and addressed the paps, saying with folded hands, “Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, aapke ghar mein bacche hain... sharam nahi aati?” He also expressed frustration at how some outlets were spreading misleading stories about his father’s health. In the heat of the moment, Sunny ended up using a harsh word while asking the media to respect their family’s space.
A day before the outburst, on November 12, Dharmendra returned home from the hospital. The Deol family issued a heartfelt statement thanking everyone for their love and prayers while requesting privacy. The note read:
“Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy. We truly appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his good health and long life.”
Hema Malini, too, shared her emotions during this tough time, saying, “It has not been an easy time for me. Dharamji’s health is a matter of great concern. His children are sleepless, and I can’t afford to be weak. I’m just happy he’s back home. He needs to be around the people he loves. The rest is in God’s hands. Please pray for us.”
The Deol family is currently focusing on Dharmendra’s recovery and has once again urged fans and media to respect their privacy during this emotional phase.
